Pricing Strategy Development:
Collaborate with the Product Development team to assess cost structures and establish target pricing for new products based on market research, cost analysis, and competitive positioning.
Develop pricing frameworks for product categories, factoring in raw material costs, labor, overhead, and other production expenses.
Partner with Vendor Managers to negotiate pricing agreements with suppliers and factories, ensuring cost-efficiency while maintaining product quality standards.
Market and Competitive Analysis:
Conduct market analysis to evaluate industry pricing trends, identifying opportunities to optimize pricing strategies and maximize profitability.
Perform competitive pricing assessments to benchmark Rovo’s pricing against key competitors within the textile industry.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Work closely with the Finance team to assess the financial impact of pricing strategies, including profit margins, cost variances, and potential risks.
Generate pricing reports and present data-driven insights to senior management, highlighting areas for pricing optimization.
Collaboration and Communication:
Serve as a key liaison between the Product Development and Sales teams to ensure alignment on pricing strategies for new product launches and ongoing product lines.
Collaborate with Product Developers to assess the cost implications of design modifications and material changes, providing actionable pricing guidance.
Innovation and Problem Solving:
Identify opportunities to streamline pricing processes, leveraging data analytics and pricing tools to enhance decision-making accuracy.
Monitor and adjust pricing strategies in response to fluctuating market conditions, raw material costs, and client feedback.
Compliance and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of pricing structures, contracts, and agreements, ensuring transparency and consistency across all product lines.
Ensure adherence to Rovo’s pricing policies and guidelines, aligning with overall business strategies and financial objectives.
Must-Have Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, or product development within the textile or manufacturing industry.
Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
